Repository 216: Domestic Violence Month | October

At the beginning of this month I posted an essay about art interrogating the home, what it means and how it feels, and how we deparately need to make private matters public. I didn't realize it was Domestic Violence Awareness month. In honor of this, and with a hope for progress on healing these private wounds, I'm sharing with you  a project I started in 2011. I hope this can be printed out, large scale, perhaps in letterpress and framed beautifully. The piece would reside in a restaurant, or other public space where everyone must confront it.
