Hokusai was a legendary Japanese painter and printmaker (1760–1849). He is known for his iconic print series of the “Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji“. I believe this poem sums up the necessary perspectives from which to work creatively. I refer to it often and find it an essential palette cleanser when entering a new body of work or project.
