Exhibition of note in Norway and Norway only – a group show “Real Life Stories” consists of nine contemporary Chinese artists, including Ai Wei Wei.

Glad these artists can have this sort of exposure in the West, though sad to imagine that their “real life stories” may not be suitable for such an exhibit in their homeland.
A canadian artist that has done some beautiful photography of China and the effects of the furious pace of change in the country is Edward Burtynsky. while the web does not do the work justice (he works on a very large scale), you can get the gist of his investigations.
